So, we lost in three straight sets, but thats fine seeing as how everyone except Connor has only been playing for 10 days. Personally, I did pretty well in the game and made some really nice digs and one really amazing save that the ref miscalled (it was then replayed).

The fans were amazing and really cheered us on and we rallied and almost won the first and third sets. I served well. A great exhibition game to get us used to the season. Varsity won 3-2.

Setter?

No offense to setters, I'm sure you have a very difficult job and trust me, I know what its like to be the "thinking" player, I'm a goalkeeper remember? And while as GK I have my glorifying moments, overall people don't recognize me. And I know setters touch the ball every time but...

...you guys don't really have that fun of a job. The only fun I'd get out of being a setter is the blocking. And the occasional spike/poke/dump... but I've always imagined being a DS or hitter...

But hey, I've only played the sport for what, 2 weeks? Well a little longer but I'll see what setting is like in a game this Saturday.

Of course, assuming that I am the team setter.

I will be pissed if I suck at volleyball...
